What to Include in Your Request
The more information you can provide up front, the faster and more accurate our proposal will be. But don’t let a lack of documents slow you down β we’re happy to discuss your project at any stage and help you figure out what’s needed.
Even a phone call describing your situation is a great place to start.
Geotechnical Report
Soil boring logs, lab results, and foundation recommendations from your geotech engineer. This is the most important document for accurate pricing.
Structural Plans
Foundation plans, shoring plans, or structural drawings showing pile locations, design loads, and any specific installation requirements.
Site Information
Site address, access conditions, overhead clearance limitations, and any known utilities. Photos of the site are always helpful.
Schedule Requirements
When you need us on site, how long we have, and any sequencing constraints with other trades or construction activities.
Project Description
Even without formal plans, a description of what you’re trying to accomplish lets us point you in the right direction and start scoping the work.
Our Process
What Happens After You Reach Out
We keep the process simple. No runaround, no waiting weeks for a callback.
We Respond
You’ll hear back from us within 24 hours β usually the same business day. We’ll confirm we received your information and ask any initial questions.
We Review
We review your plans, geotech report, and site conditions. If we need additional information or have constructability input, we’ll reach out to discuss.
We Propose
You’ll receive a detailed proposal with scope, pricing, schedule, and any assumptions or exclusions β typically within 24β48 hours of complete plan review.
We Mobilize
Once awarded, we coordinate submittals with your engineer, schedule mobilization, and get our crews and equipment on site when you need us there.
Our Services
What We Can Help You With
If your project involves any of these systems, we’d like to hear about it.
Micropile Foundations
New construction, underpinning, seismic retrofit, and structural support. Hollow bar and solid bar systems with capacities to 1,000+ kips.
Shoring & Earth Retention
Soldier pile and lagging, soil nail walls, tieback anchors, and shotcrete facing for temporary and permanent excavation support.
Slope Stabilization
Active landslide repair, cut slope retention, hillside stabilization, and emergency response using micropiles, soil nails, tiebacks, and drainage systems.
Emergency & Rapid Response
Slope failures, excavation collapses, and emergency stabilization situations that need immediate attention. Call us directly at (801) 874-0833.
Service Area
Where We Work
Rocky Mountain Micropiles is based along the Wasatch Front and serves projects throughout Utah and the Intermountain West. Most of our work is along the I-15 corridor from Ogden to Provo, with regular projects in Park City, the Wasatch Back, and Southern Utah.
We also mobilize for projects in Idaho, Wyoming, and neighboring states. If your project is outside our primary area, give us a call β we’ll let you know if we can help.
FAQ
Common Questions
If you don’t see your question answered here, call us. We’d rather spend five minutes on the phone than have you guessing.
(801) 874-0833How quickly can you provide a proposal?
For most projects, we provide a detailed proposal within 24β48 hours of receiving complete plans and geotechnical information. Simple scopes can often be turned around the same day.
Do you provide design-build services?
We typically build to engineer-designed plans, but we can provide design-build micropile and shoring solutions in collaboration with our engineering partners when the project requires it.
What if I don’t have a geotechnical report yet?
Call us anyway. We can discuss your project, help you understand what geotechnical information you’ll need, and refer you to qualified geotechnical engineering firms if you don’t already have one.
How far in advance should I contact you?
The earlier the better for scheduling, but we understand construction timelines change. We’ll work with your schedule and mobilize as quickly as possible. For emergencies, we can often respond within days.
Do you work with homeowners?
Our primary work is commercial and infrastructure, but we do help homeowners with foundation underpinning and slope stabilization when the scope warrants it. Give us a call and we’ll let you know if we’re the right fit.
